River cleanup: Temple Terrace Parks and Recreation will hold a river and trails cleanup from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at Riverhills Park, 329 S Riverhills Drive. Volunteers should wear gloves, high-topped boots, long pants and a long-sleeved shirt. Insect repellent, sunscreen, bottled water and a hat are recommended. Call 813 989-7180.

Healthy families: An informational session about Weight Watchers Family, a pilot program that teaches parents how to create a weight-healthy home, will be held at 7 p.m. at All Children's Specialty Care of Tampa, 12220 Bruce B.
