Students accused of stealing cows

Why bother with cow-tipping when you can steal them? Three high school students in Ocala are accused of being teenage cattle rustlers, stealing 129 head and netting $20,000, the Orlando Sentinel reports. The case began in October with a missing steer named Moose raised by a Marion County high school agriculture student. Sheriff's detectives found a link between Moose and the three students, a 17-year-old and two 18-year-olds from Ocala. That led to more cattle. The students are accused of rustling cattle from farms along Interstate 75 and Highway 326 and selling them at area livestock markets.

Former state Rep. Bob Henriquez, a Tampa Democrat and the longtime football coach at Tampa Catholic, got married Thursday in the office of Rep. Jack Seiler, a Fort Lauderdale Democrat and notary public. Henriquez, 42, married Carrie Vaught, a legislative coordinator for the state Office of Insurance Regulation. About 30 friends broke into applause. "Now," Henriquez said, "if we can just beat Jesuit."
