Seminar explains water reuse ideas Hernando County Utilities will host its next Water Awareness seminar from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at the department facility at 21030 Cortez Blvd. The seminar topic is "Water Reuse 101," and will be presented by Anthony Andrade from Southwest Florida Water Management District and Bob Peacock of the Pinellas County Utilities Department. The program is a guide to understanding how reusing water can be a critical component in Florida's water conservation strategy and the future of water supplies. SPRING HILL Dump site hours are changing Hernando County Utilities Department/Solid Waste and Recycling Division has announced that business hours will change next week at the West Hernando Transfer Station, 2525 Osowaw Blvd. Starting Sunday, hours at the Spring Hill facility will coincide with the East Hernando Transfer Station, 33070 Cortez Blvd., in Ridge Manor.
