RUSKIN - Children's author Dennis Carr was arrested Tuesday on charges of possession of cocaine, possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Jail records list Bloomsbury Publisher as Carr's employer, and the company's Web site states that he and his wife, Elise, are the authors of Welcome to Wahoo. They live in Las Vegas and have roots in the film industry, the Web site said. The Web site for the couple's book said Dennis Carr, 59, wrote the TV pilot Razzle Dazzle Kids and the screenplay for the Warner Bros. movie Undercover Kid. Carr was released from jail after posting $3,000 bail.
