National recording artist Jonathan White: He will be in concert at 6 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church of Lake Rousseau, 7854 W Dunnellon Road. The soloist has been on the Top 40 weekly chart of Southern Gospel News with hits like The Passion of Christ. He was the SGN Music Award nominee for male vocalist of the year in 2005 and soloist of the year for Global Southern Gospel Radio in 2004 and 2005. The concert is free; an offering will be taken. Call (352) 564-9121. Lenten Mission: St. Scholastica Catholic Church, 4301 W Homosassa Trail, Lecanto, will host a Lenten Mission with the Rev. Daniel Francis from Redemptorist Missions at 7 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday. He will also speak at the daily Masses at 8:30 a.m. Call 746-9422. Christ's Journey of Love: Hernando United Methodist Church, 2125 E Norvell Bryant Highway, will present this show at 7:30 p.m. March 22 and 23. Mike Hagen's Strength Team: The team will appear, as guests of Cornerstone Baptist Church, at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday through March 11 at Citrus High School, 600 W Highland Blvd., Inverness. The free performances will include feats such as ripping a phone book in half, crushing walls of concrete with a blow from an arm or head, breaking handcuffs, running through two-by-fours and blowing up hot water bottles until they explode. The team will also speak at 10 area schools. Call 726-7335. The mystery writers draw on their own experiences: Diane as a federal prosecutor and David as a special agent with the Naval Investigative Service, U.S. Customs and U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
