St. Margaret Episcopal Church, 114 N Osceola Ave.: The food pantry is open from 9:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Feed My Sheep provides a hot meal for the needy at 11:30 a.m. Wednesdays; there will be no meal served this Wednesday. Walk "The Way of the Cross" at noon Fridays during Lent. Call 726-3153.

First Presbyterian Church, 206 Washington Ave.: After school programs begin at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday afternoons to assist middle school students with schoolwork. Family devotion packets are available by contacting Denise Putnam at the office. Call 637-0770.

BEVERLY HILLS

Congregation Beth Sholom, 102 Civic Circle: Purim Megillah reading will be at 7 p.m. today. Call 746-5303.

Beverly Hills Community, 88 Civic Circle: The church food pantry will distribute food from 11 a.m. to noon and 6 to 7 p.m. the last Tuesday of each month. To qualify, recipients must be a Beverly Hills resident with identification. Call 746-3620 to make a reservation a week ahead. There will be an initial registration for each recipient.

CITRUS SPRINGS

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, 1401 W Country Club Drive: The food pantry is open at 9 a.m. the third Saturday. Call Chuck Angel at 465-8330. Recipients remain anonymous. Call 489-4889.

Hope Evangelical Lutheran, 9425 N Citrus Springs Blvd.: Lenten services will be at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. [meditation and devotions] and at noon and 6:30 p.m. [worship and Communion] each Thursday through Easter. Call 489-5511.

CRYSTAL RIVER

First Presbyterian, 1501 SE U.S. 19: Our Father's Table ministry offers a meal at 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. The next H.A.M.S. program is at 5 p.m. Friday and will be an evening of music featuring Irish songs along with selections from Brigadoon. Bring a dish to pass for the dinner. Beginning March 11, Sunday evening worship will be at 6 p.m. on the second and third Sundays. Ancient Future Worship will be each third Sunday. Call 795-2259.

St. Anne's Episcopal Church, 9870 W Fort Island Trail: The Food Pantry offers bags of groceries from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. daily in the administration building. Call 795-2176.

Crystal River United Methodist, 4801 N Citrus Ave.: A series of sermons for Lent will continue through March 25. This sermon series takes a look at fives passages from the Gospels that contrast worldly ambitions with God's purposes and cover themes such as temptation, fear, prejudice, reconciliation and commitment. "Crosspoints" airs on WYKE TV47 [channel 16 on cable] at 7 a.m. Sunday and is repeated at 9:30 p.m. Monday and 12:30 p.m. Wednesday with host Suzanne Koerner. This week's guest is evangelist Johan Bruwer from South Africa whose visit kicks off a five-week series called "The Road to Calvary."

Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church, 4221 W Gulf to Lake Highway: If you would like to donate groceries to the Harvest Pantry, bring them to any service this weekend and leave them behind your vehicle where they will be picked up by a member of the Harvest Team. Call 746-6200.

Nature Coast Unitarian-Universalist Fellowship, 2149 Norvell Bryant Highway: A musical journey through time and across the Atlantic is the theme at 10:30 a.m. Sunday with Castlebay, a Maine/Celtic duo that blends history, legend and experience. Julia Lane plays the Celtic Harp and guitar; Gosbee plays the fiddle, guitar, flute and tin whistle. A time of coffee and discussion will follow.
