RUSKIN - Hillsborough County sheriff's deputies continue their search for 24-year-old Andy Claudio in connection with the Oct. 19 crash that killed 10-year-old Ismelys Regalado.

Deputies say Claudio was traveling west on 15th Street SE at a high speed when he struck a van at Shell Point Road.

Ismelys' entire family was hospitalized. She was the only one who died.

Claudio was treated for non-life threatening injuries that night. Deputies issued a warrant for his arrest in February, but have not found him.

He is described as male, 6 feet tall, 230 pounds with shoulder-length curly hair, brown eyes and black hair. He drives a black or charcoal gray Chevy Impala, tag number V085ZN.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office at (813) 247-8200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873- 8477.

I'm sorry to sound negative, but why search for this guy. A precedent has already been set in the Jennifer Porter case that removes all responsibility from people who hit, kill, and run. Thank you Jennifer Porter and Barry Cohen for the injustice!
