Watercolor club: Pat Weaver, above, will be the guest artist and demonstrator at today's meeting of the Citrus Watercolor Club. She will also conduct a two-day watercolor workshop on Saturday and Sunday. The club meets at 1 p.m. on the second Friday of the month at United Methodist Church, Inverness, on County Road 581. Public can attend for $3.

'True West': The play continues through March 18 at Playhouse 19, 865 U.S. 19 S, Crystal River. It tells the story of two brothers: Austin, a Hollywood screenwriter, and Lee, a petty crook and drifter. Sibling rivalry boils over when Lee suddenly steals all of Austin's creative thunder, leading to a disaster for the tiny house they share. Box office hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and one hour before show times. Show times are 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students.

Look ahead

Rock on: Auditions for the rock musical Hair will be 6:30 p.m. March 18 and 19 and 6 p.m. March 23 and 25 at Playhouse 19, 865 U.S. 19 S, Crystal River. There are roles for eight males, eight females and band members. This show contains subject matter and language that is not suitable for younger performers and anyone under 18 will not be considered for a role in this show without the written consent of a parent or guardian. Show dates are June 14 to July 1. Call the box office at 563-1333.

'Saraband': The follow up to Scenes From A Marriage, will be shown 7:15 p.m. March 16 the Unitarian-Universalist Fellowship at 2149 Norvell Bryant Highway in Lecanto. Popcorn and soda for sale. Call 465-5646.

Spring concerts: The Citrus Community Concert Choir will perform a series of spring concerts. The schedule is 7:30 p.m. March 30 at First Presbyterian Church of Inverness; 2 p.m. April 1 at First Lutheran Church, Lecanto; and 7:30 p.m. April 3 at First Baptist Church, Crystal River. Tickets at the door are $8 for adults; 12 and younger are admitted free.

'Wife Begins at Forty': The comedy plays weekends from March 16 to April 1 at the Art Center Theatre, 2644 N Annapolis Ave., Citrus Hills. Tickets are $18. Call 746-7606.
