MAN DISCOVERS HE SOLD TICKETS FOR FAKE MONEY

Dick Christian tried to do a favor by selling his friend's extra ACC basketball tickets Thursday. Now Christian's friend is out $400, the face value of the tickets. That's because Christian, 58, of Tampa sold the tickets to a man who used counterfeit bills, police say. By the time he realized the $20 bills looked odd, the buyer had disappeared.

Man's sneeze forces his car into building

It must have been a mighty sneeze. Hillsborough sheriff's deputies say a Tampa man sneezed so violently he lost control of his Honda and drove into a building. Joseph Johnson, 67, of 8808 Citrus Village Drive drove over a curb and crashed into Design Specialties, a cabinet and stained glass shop at 6014 Linebaugh Ave. The crash caused $100,000 in damage, deputies say. He was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital with minor injuries.
