ST. PETERSBURG - A 59-year-old Tampa man died after he fell out of his kayak near the Gandy Bridge on Sunday afternoon. Sing F. Lee of 81041/2 North Newport Ave., Tampa, was fishing alone in the channel off the Gandy Bridge when he fell overboard, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. Witnesses said they saw Lee struggle to cling to his kayak and to retrieve some items that were strewn into the water when his kayak capsized. Nearby boaters motored up to render aid, but they said Lee suddenly became unconscious. A boater took Lee to the boat ramp on the south side of the Gandy causeway, where paramedics with St. Petersburg Fire Rescue attempted to revive him with CPR, the Sheriff's Office reported. Lee, who deputies said was originally from China, was taken to Northside Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 1:08 p.m. Moms set to be on morning show TAMPA - A pair of New Tampa mothers who are inspiring governments to tighten sex offender laws are scheduled to appear today on Good Morning America. Crews taped scenes of Heather Allred and Lynn Chernin Thursday at a neighborhood playground, where they re-enacted some of their efforts to mobilize authorities for tighter residency restrictions. Chernin and Allred tentatively are scheduled to appear between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., an ABC spokeswoman said. "This whole thing for Heather and I is just bizarre ... a national show is courting us," Chernin said. "We're just moms."
