ORLANDO The 2007 Military Retiree Appreciation Day is scheduled for March 24 at the Rosen Plaza Hotel, 9700 International Drive. Registration will be from 8 to 9 a.m.; a speakers' program addressing military retiree legislation, pay, benefits and issues will begin at 9:15 a.m.; and a county fair is scheduled from noon to 3 p.m. Military retirees, family members and friends of the military services are invited to attend. Those with proper handicap parking permits will receive complimentary valet parking. Military ID cards will be issued for those whose cards have expired or if they are near expiration. The expiration date is on the back of the card. Those whose cards will expire within a 60-day period are advised to use this opportunity to have them reissued. The event is hosted by Fort Stewart Retirement Services Office and the 3rd Infantry Division Mechanized and Fort Stewart, Ga.
