TC's Kelly did pitch well, as did BPS's Matt Rykman who has 17 K's and 5 walks in two games against TC so far this year. Rykman is 2nd at BPS in K's so far, and BPS's 6 pitchers have a combined ERA of 1.38. Looking forward to a spirited rematch.

TC and Jesuit tied in TC's opening game which was called because of darkness. Joe Kelly pitched extremely well against in that game too. I think TC and Berkeley are pretty evenly matched and have provided the most thrilling contests of the season.

TC's Joe Kelly pitched one heck of a game against Berkely with 7 K's & only 1 BB. He was impressive.

Joy, I wasn't looking to take anything away from TC. TC beat BPS 3-2 earlier in the year, and BPS beat TC 3-2 more recently. But, BPS did beat CCC 3-2, while CCC beat TC 7-3.The matchups at Districts btw. those 3 teams should be exciting close.

I guess you have forgotten that TC beat BPS 3-2 on Feb 27 last couple of w were games were by 1 run. don't take away from the other teams where any of those games could of gone against BPS. All are great teams!

It's too bad Berkeley Prep (10-3)isn't in the field. BPS has beaten Tampa Catholic, Clearwater Central Catholic and Jesuit this year, and could go a long way with 5 strong Senior pitchers. BPS is, however, going to a very strong tourney in FTL.
