TAMPA -- Steve Cole, spokesman for the U.S. Attorney's Office in Tampa, was arrested Friday night and charged with driving under the influence, according to jail records.

"It's an unforunate incident," said Cole, 53. "I plan to deal with it responsibly through the court system."

Jail records show Cole was arrested just after 9:30 p.m. at N Florida and E Linebaugh avenues. His blood alcohol content was .118, records show.

Florida law presumes a person is impaired if their blood alcohol exceeds .08.
