Air Airman Daniel S. Christenson, son of Michael and Diane Christenson of St. Petersburg, has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

Air Force Senior Airman Brent M. Cormier, son of Annette Cormier of St. Petersburg, recently arrived for duty in Dixon, Ill. He is a recruiter with the 347th Recruiting Squadron based in Milwaukee.

Army Reserve Pvt. Larry W. Burch, son of Billy R. and Shirley A. Burch of St. Petersburg, has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. He is a graduate of Boca Ciega High School.

Army Pvt. Bobby J. Hamlet, son of Sheri Canley of Riverview and grandson of Nancy Moore of St. Petersburg, has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

Air Force 1st Lt. Robert D. Patt, son of Walter E. Patt Jr. of Pinellas Park, recently was deployed to the Persian Gulf region with the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing. He is an air operations mission systems flight commander normally assigned to the 333rd Training Squadron at Keesler Air Force Base, Biloxi, Miss. He is a 1989 graduate of Dixie Hollins High School and a 2001 graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park.
