Two Bulls CBs plan to leave for B-CC

Twin sophomore cornerbacks Antonio and Antwane Cox, who played sparingly on special teams last season, are transferring in the summer to Division I-AA Bethune-Cookman, coach Jim Leavitt said Wednesday. The Bulls open four weeks of spring practice Tuesday. Former Bulls receiver Jackie Chambers, who was suspended for six games last season and dismissed from the team in November, has transferred to I-AA Morgan State, where he's reunited with former high school and USF teammate Chad Simpson. Both will be seniors in the fall. Alex Herron, a three-year starter at center for USF from 2002-04, has joined the football staff at West Virginia as an offensive graduate assistant. Herron, 25, is working under offensive line coach Greg Frey, who coached him at USF.
