Man says neighbor's pigs mess up yard
By TIMES STAFF

RIDGE MANOR And you thought your neighbors were pigs? Edward Papaneri has to deal with the real thing. In the past week, according to his statement to the Sheriff's Office, pigs belonging to Papaneri's neighbor have come into his yard, rooted up the soil and eaten oranges from his orange tree. This was the third time he had called deputies this week to complain about the animals. He said his neighbor, Judith Prater of 3455 Treiman Blvd., doesn't do enough to control her potbellied pets. Deputy James Adkins fined Prater $100 for not restraining her animals.

(Deputies can issue fines just like code enforcement and animal control. The only people who complain about cops are the offenders.) Good job, Deputy Adkins. Too many people dont take responsibility for their animals.
