What companies excel at diversity and making it a positive bottom-line force? Here are the top 25 corporations named by DiversityInc in its 2006 annual ranking. A majority of these companies operate units and employ workers in the Tampa Bay area.

There are other rankings of diversity, too. For example, the Women's Business Enterprise National Council, a Washington, D.C., advocacy group for women-owned businesses as suppliers to the nation's corporations, this month announced its annual listing of the country's top businesses that offer equal access to world-class supplier diversity programs.
These companies will be honored March 30 at a ceremony in Dallas. Like the DiversityInc list, most of these firms are prominent in the Tampa Bay economy.
