Mindie is a 4-year-old spayed female black lab mix who is looking for a permanent home with someone who will love her. Mindie gets along great with other dogs and enjoys being outside as well as inside. She's in Pen B-27 at Hernando County Animal Services. Inquiries about adopting Mindie or other dogs and cats can be made at Hernando County Animal Services, 19450 Oliver St., Brooksivlle. The shelter is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays; from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursdays; and from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturdays. The adoption fee is $45 for cats and $65 for dogs, to cover the cost of rabies shot, heartworm testing, worming and spaying/neutering, and include a Hernando County license.
