Scores: Robinson 5, Plant City 3 Bloomingdale 6, Newsome 4 Pitcher(s) of the day: Robinson's Trace Venegas earned his first save of the season in one inning, striking out the final three Raiders after giving up a hit and a walk. Hitter of the day: Bloomingdale's Joe Castellanos hit the Newsome site's first home run in the bottom of the fifth inning. Castellanos was 2-for-3 with four RBIs, one walk and a stolen base. Defensive gem(s) of the day: Plant City shortstop Josh Kimbel made a sliding, back-handed stop and throw to second base to get the third out for the Raiders in the fifth with the bases loaded. ...Newsome centerfielder David Jackson made a nice catch on a line drive in the fourth, catching Bulls base runner Ryan Sugar off second base for a double play.
