Art show will benefit day care center

ST. PETERSBURG BUSINESS COMMITTEES FOR THE ARTS WILL CONVENE THURSDAY AND FRIDAY IN TAMPA AND ST. PETERSBURG TO DISCUSS THE RENAISSANCE OF DOWNTOWN ST. PETERSBURG, AREA PARTNERSHIPS BETWEEN BUSINESSES AND ARTISTIC ENTITIES, AND FACILITATING RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN BUSINESS AND CULTURAL GROUPS. GROUPS WILL BE COMING FROM DALLAS; DENVER; KANSAS CITY, MO.; MONTGOMERY, ALA.; NEW YORK; NEW HAMPSHIRE; AND PORTLAND, ORE. THURSDAY'S GATHERING WILL BE AT THE GRAY ROBINSON LAW OFFICES AT 201 N. PETERSBURG Art show will benefit day care center The Florida Highwaymen Art Show will be held this weekend. Proceeds will benefit the Happy Workers Day Care Center. The event kicks off from 7-10 p.m. Friday at Grand Kitchen & Bath, 2448 Central Ave. Artwork will be on display and a silent auction will be held. Attire is black and white. $20 donation. The Grand Central District Association will host 12 Florida Highwaymen from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. SEMINOLE Family opens second Ace Hardware store A new Ace Hardware store is opening at 9137 Oakhurst Road. It will be the second store opened by the Klinowski family. "The design of this store, along with our highly trained staff, focuses on helping consumers solve their home improvement challenges," said John Klinowski.
