USA Today to name All-USA Teacher Team

USA Today seeks nominations for the 10th annual All-USA Teacher Team through April 30. Each of the 20 teachers chosen will receive a trophy and a $2,500 cash award - $500 for the teachers and $2,000 for the school to use as designated by the winning teacher. Nominees must be certified, full-time teachers for grades K-12 for the 2006-2007 school year.

ST. PETERSBURG

Group hosts forum with superintendent

The League of Women Voters of the St. Petersburg Area will host a discussion with Clayton Wilcox, superintendent of Pinellas County Schools, at 6:30 p.m. today at the Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, 3050 First Ave. S, St. Petersburg.

A question-and-answer period will be held after Wilcox's presentation. The event is open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
