Dupre struck out five and walked only two. Hitter(s) of the Day: Hillsborough's Marlon Mitchell was part of the Terriers' hitting barrage. Mitchell had a triple and scored twice, one coming in the Terriers' big six-run fourth inning. ...Tampa Catholic's Kyle Allen had two doubles and an RBI against Chamberlain. Allen also was the game's winning pitcher. Defensive gem of the day: Chamberlain centerfielder Anthony Gordon robbed TC's Eric Gerkin of an extra-base hit when he laid out to snare a deep flyball in centerfield during the Crusaders' first at-bat. Did you know? Hillsborough's Michael Burgess, a likely first-round pick in this summer's major league draft, leads the county in walks with 27. He had another one Tuesday.
