ROBBER WAITS HIS TURN IN LINE TO DEMAND CASH

A bank robber on Tuesday minded his manners, waiting in line twice before demanding cash from a teller, police said. Witnesses told police the man entered the Bank of America at 3811 Fourth St. N just after 2:25 p.m. and waited in line until he reached a teller and asked for a bank slip. He left the counter to fill out the slip, and again waited in line. When he returned to the counter, he presented the teller with the slip, which explained his demand for money. He then left with an undisclosed amount of cash. The bank robber was described as a white man, 30-35 years old, 5 feet 7 and 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a brown shirt, shorts and a tan baseball cap with green lines and an unidentified logo. He had dirty blond hair, investigators said. No injuries were reported. Man, 53, accused of abusing girl

William Olick Thomas Jr., 53, was arrested Wednesday and charged with capital sexual battery on a child. Hillsborough County deputies say the victim recently told her mother she was abused in Thomas' car and home between 1997 and 1999. She said the abuse started when she was 6 years old. Thomas admitted to the offenses when he was arrested Wednesday, deputies said. He remains in Orient Road Jail without bail.

CLEARWATER

Officers say teens stole 20 guns

Two teens were arrested and charged with burglary Tuesday after police got a tip that the youngsters were selling stolen guns. Detectives were led to a 15-year-old and a 17-year-old after investigating the burglary Monday of a home in the Wood Valley area between State Road 590 and Drew Street. More than 20 guns were stolen, including rifles, at least one handgun and pellet guns. More than $3,000 worth of jewelry was taken as well, according to authorities. Police withheld their names.

Man charged with sexual battery

Jeris Brunson, 25, was arrested Wednesday on charges of sexual battery on a victim less than 12 years old. Police say he has admitted to sexually abusing a 3-year-old girl. Brunson, of 4216 Sandalwood Circle N, has previous charges that include aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, burglary, petty theft and drug possession. He was being held without bail Wednesday at Orient Road Jail.

DADE CITY

Unarmed man robs credit union

An unarmed man robbed San Antonio Citizens Credit Union of an undisclosed amount of cash Tuesday. No one was injured, according to Dade City police. The robber is described as a white man in his mid 30s with a large tattoo running the length of one of his his calves.
