Chase ends with crash into trees, four arrests

SEMINOLE - Four men in a rented 2007 Dodge Charger were arrested Sunday after clipping a Pinellas County Sheriff's Office cruiser, fleeing from deputies and crashing into mangroves. All four were charged with possession of crack cocaine. The short chase started about 4:30 p.m. when two deputies noticed the car driving erratically southbound on Seminole Boulevard, according to spokeswoman Marianne Pasha. When one deputy tried to pull the car over, it sped away and clipped the second deputy's car in the process. The two deputies followed the car east onto 66th Avenue and cornered it in a cul-de-sac at the Long Bayou residential complex, and the Dodge crashed into some mangroves in an embankment. The driver, Marvin Brown, 19, of Largo was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, fleeing and eluding, driving with a suspended or revoked license, failure to maintain a lane and possession of crack cocaine. Jeffrey Louis Lee, 17, of Largo was charged with possession of crack cocaine. Devon Hill, 16, of Clearwater was charged with two counts of resisting arrest with violence and possession of crack cocaine. Dalemetrius Brown, 20, was charged with resisting arrest without violence and possession of crack cocaine. Marvin Brown and Dalemetrius Brown complained of minor injuries, Pasha said, and were taken to local hospitals to be cleared before they were taken to jail. Man hospitalized after being hit by car ST. PETE BEACH - A man was hospitalized Saturday night after he was hit by a car at 44th Avenue and Gulf Boulevard. The man was not identified Sunday by the St. Pete Beach Police Department and the extent of his injuries was unknown. No charges have been filed. Police investigate 2 shooting incidents ST. PETERSBURG - St. Petersburg police are investigating two street shootings Sunday evening. At 5:50 p.m., police went to the 2000 block of 21st Street S, where a 30-year-old man was shot in the upper torso, they said. His condition was stable Sunday night. At 9:18 p.m., a man was shot at 2842 Sixth Ave. S and was transported to Bayfront Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, according to police. Police said they thought the shootings are unrelated. Man accused of kicking injured dog NEW PORT RICHEY - Thomas D. Boisvert found himself in jail Saturday, after being accused of kicking an injured dog. Pasco Deputy Jessica Hammond said she saw Boisvert, 47, of 6249 Emerson Drive pulling a small dog at the Chasco Fiesta parade, according to a Sheriff's Office report. The dog appeared to have an injured left rear leg. When a deputy told Boisvert to pick up the dog and go home, he kicked it several times and then ignored the deputy's order to stop walking away, the deputy wrote in a report. Boisvert was charged with animal cruelty and failure to obey a law enforcement officer. He remained in jail Sunday in lieu of $5,150 bail.

Boisvert is bad to the bone, make him pay the fine and give him alot of jail time as well as well as community service. I doubt this dirtbag has respect for anyone or anything, a real blot on the landscape.
