Passenger gets touchy over first-class space

It's called first class, but that's no guarantee of first-class behavior. Two airline passengers were almost arrested Monday after a heated argument over a reclining seat touching a newspaper, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports. American Airlines Flight 883 was flying from New York's LaGuardia Airport to Fort Lauderdale when a woman reclined her seat and hit the newspaper held by a man sitting behind her. An argument ensued, and the man grabbed a newspaper or magazine from the woman's hand. Broward sheriff's deputies declined to arrest anyone, but the feuding couple were turned over to the Transportation Security Administration.

Grand Prix tracks better ticket sales so far

Prerace ticket sales for this weekend's Grand Prix of St. Petersburg are stronger than in the race's previous two years. Race officials also say they have sold more luxury box space and expect to triple last year's number of recreational vehicle parking sales. Tickets are available for Sunday's IndyCar Series race or for the entire weekend. Tickets cost $40 to $110 for adults and can be purchased at the Grand Prix box office, 25 Second St. N, St. Petersburg, or by calling (727) 898-4639.
