USF puts executive MBA in spotlight
Though it has grown dramatically in its three years, the executive MBA program at USF-St. Petersburg is launching its first advertising campaign to increase enrollment. The first class had 30 students, but the program has grown to more than 100. The school would like to have around 180 students in the weeknights program. In addition to 20 billboards, the campaign will feature Web advertising, e-mail blasts to alumni, and direct mail to employers of prospective students. The program is separately accredited and is unique in emphasizing corporate social responsibility. Students have worked on projects in the Midtown area and are now engaging in consultations to improve the business of non-profits. The two-year program costs less than $10,000.
