Community group wants to get residents involved

The Lealman Community Association meets the first Wednesday of each month. Meetings are casual, and residents of Lealman are encouraged to attend.

The group's goal is to get more Lealman residents to participate in discussions about community improvements. The meetings are regularly attended by representatives from Pinellas County, code enforcement and the Sheriff's Office, association leaders say.

Spring cleanup will last through May 31

Keep Pinellas Beautiful has kicked-off its three-month spring cleanup. This is the 22nd year of the Great American Clean-Up, and local affiliates, including Keep Pinellas Beautiful, will organize community volunteers to work through May 31 to clean up local parks, public areas and waterways. Pancake breakfast is April 14 at 8:30 a.m.

The next Kenneth City Homeowners Pancake Breakfast is scheduled for the second Saturday of April. Kenneth City residents are welcome to attend.

Homeowners group set to meet April 10

The next meeting of the Kenneth City Homeowners Association is set for April 10. A representative of the Lealman Fire Department will speak to the group on fire safety and distribute smoke detectors.
