Lance Clayton Shook, son of Vince and Teri Shook of St. Petersburg, graduated from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, N.C., with a master's degree in business administration.

Shook was a member of Pi Gamma Mu, the International Honor Society in Social Sciences. He was the vice president of finance for the graduate business student association.

Shook is a 2000 graduate of St. Petersburg High School.
