Parents, don't end up with egg on your face. A bunny bonanza of egg hunting events, including photos and breakfast opportunities with the bunny of honor, start Saturday. Here is a listing of events by city.

Parents, don't end up with egg on your face. A bunny bonanza of egg hunting events, including photos and breakfast opportunities with the bunny of honor, start Saturday. Here is a listing of events by city.

LARGO

- Hop to Largo's egg-stra special spring egg hunt from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Highland Recreation Complex, 400 Highland Ave. Egg hunts are planned for children of all ages. Call 518-3016.

- Join your favorite eggs-plorers Dora and Diego on Tuesday on a quest for the perfect egg. Using a map, children up to age 7 will go egg hunting. Crafts and an appearance by the Easter bunny are also planned for the event from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Southwest Recreation Complex, 13120 Vonn Road. Call 518-3125.

CLEARWATER

- Try to find some of the more than 3,000 eggs hidden in Mandalay Park starting at 6 p.m. April 6 in the park, 532 N. Mandalay Ave on Clearwater Beach. Call 462-6138.

- Want to win a chocolate bunny or Easter basket? Find the special egg and win the prize starting at 10 a.m. April 7 at Morningside Recreation Complex, 2400 Harn Blvd.

- The Clearwater Community Volunteers and Church of Scientology's Easter Egg Hunt is from noon to 2 p.m. April 8 at Coachman Park, 301 Drew St. A few special eggs contain the fabled "Golden Egg" inside, which is redeemed for a plush bunny to take home. There will be a bounce house, pony rides, face painting, dance contest and more at for the free event. Call 442-2099.

DUNEDIN

- Bring a flashlight and hunt colorful eggs from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the MLK Recreation Center, 550 Laura Lane. The Flashlight Egg Hunt is for children age 5 to 11. Each participant receives an Easter candy bag, hot dog dinner and the chance for an Easter prize. Cost is $5 with ID card $6 without a card. Call 738-2920.

- A bunny brunch featuring games, treats, crafts and a visit from the bunny will start at 10 a.m. April 4 in Hammock Park, 1900 San Mateo Drive. The event is for children age 3 to 5. Cost is $5 if the child is pre-registered by Monday. Cost is $6 after Monday and group rate of five or more children is $4. Call 738-2920.

SAFETY HARBOR

- The Safety Harbor Easter Eggstravaganza starts at 10 a.m. Saturday at City Park, 940 Seventh St. S. Activities at the event include egg hunts, carnival games, an inflatable moonwalk and slides, and a petting zoo. Proceeds benefit the Teen Advisory Board and the Shining Star Program, a scholarship program for the city's summer camps. Admission is free but there are nominal fees for games, rides and other activities. Call 724-1572.

PALM HARBOR

- Palm Harbor Parks and Recreation Breakfast with the Easter Bunny will be from 8:30 to 10:30 April 7 at 1500 16th St., Palm Harbor. Children will get to take pictures with the bunny and there will be craft time to make a frame. The egg hunt starts at 9 a.m. The event is for children up to age 12.

OLDSMAR

- Breakfast with the Easter Bunny will be from 9 to 10 a.m. April 7 at the Oldsmar Chick-fil-A, 3740 Tampa Road. Cost is $6 for an advance food ticket, or $8 at the door. Nonfood tickets are $2 in advance and $3 at the door. Call 813-749-1260.

TARPON SPRINGS

- Bring your basket and a smile for photos with the Easter bunny as part of the Easter Eggstravaganza starting at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Tarpon Springs Sports Complex, 150 Jasmine Ave. Pony rides, a jump house, coloring contest and (of course) an egg hunt are planned for the free event. Call 942-5628.
