Easter program: First Baptist of Inverness, 550 Pleasant Grove Road, will present a musical Easter program entitled "No More Night" at 6 p.m. Sunday. Call 726-1252.

National Day of Prayer: Events will begin at noon May 3 at the Historic Courthouse in Inverness and the gazebo in Crystal River. Event coordinator for east Citrus, the Rev. Harvey Dunn, encourages prayer warriors to attend and to pray for the event's preparation. The Rev. Rick Nelson is west side coordinator.

Helping the needy: To provide an Easter meal for hungry men, women and children, send $1.29 per meal to the Path of Citrus County, P.O. Box 3024, Inverness, FL 34451-3024. Call 527-6500 for information.

Musical extravaganza: SWAV and Remnant will be among the entertainment for this show, which will be staged at 7 p.m. May 19 at Citrus High School's cafeteria, 600 W Highland Blvd., Inverness. Barbecue meals and beverages will be sold. Tickets are available now for a donation of $5 or more. The concert is sponsored by the Florida A&M University Black Male College Explorers Program/Inverness Chapter and will benefit a program for at-risk African-American, bi-racial and Hispanic boys. Car wash: The youth of New Beginnings Fellowship will host a car wash from 8 a.m. to noon today at the church, 2577 N Florida Ave. (U.S. 41), Inverness.

The church will host free aerobics classes, taught by Michele Jones, at 7 p.m. Mondays beginning this week. Bring a towel or mat and bottled water and hand weights if you have them. There will be a short Bible study after the class. Call 560-3255.

Church Without Walls: The church will host an Easter community service at 10:30 a.m. April 8 at Hernando Beach. A baptism is afterward. There will be a fellowship dinner, boat rides, pony rides, egg hunt and other family activities. Bring a covered dish in a throw-away container.

The church also will host a golf fundraiser at 8:30 a.m. April 14 at Citrus Hills. If you or your business or organization would like to make a tax-deductible contribution of $50 or more as a hole sponsor, call 344-2425. Donations or gifts to be auctioned also are welcome.

Indoor yard sale: First Presbyterian, 1501 SE U.S. 19, Crystal River, will host the sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday and today. Call 795-2259
