CONSTRUCTION

Peter R. Brown Construction Inc., 13830 58th Ave. N, Clearwater has been awarded the following contracts: A design build contract for Merritt Island High School, project includes a new 31,000-square-foot classroom building, core facility upgrades, facility renewal, competitive sports facility improvements and new parking/lighting upgrades, $28.4-million; and the Florida Department of Health, Children's Medical Services building, Viera, consist of a 26,000-square-foot building with community service, medical clinic and administrative office spaces. Cost is still to be determined.

Walker Brand Communications, 3705 Swann Ave., Tampa, was recognized at the National Sales and Marketing Awards with a gold award for "Best Overall Ad Campaign" for its ad campaign for "C," a condominium development planned by Crescent Resources LLC.
