Leonard A. Kail, of New Port Richey, shares the story of his first car, a ’35 Ford convertible:

“I bought it in 1942 at the age of 17 for $25. A year later when I entered the Army Air Corp as a tail gunner on a B-17 I sold it for $65. Three years later, they were selling for $300.”
