Board to look at Youth Risk Behavior Survey

The Pinellas County School Board will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the district administration building, 301 Fourth St. SW, Largo. The public is invited to attend. Agenda items include distribution of the 2006 Youth Risk Behavior Survey, which details student-reported information on issues related to health, injury and disease prevention. The board also will consider setting a public hearing to amend district policy to allow early college admission students to participate in high school-sponsored athletics, graduation and other school activities. Two free driving classes are offered this summer Pinellas County Schools will offer two free driver education sessions this summer to public and private school students. The first session will be May 29-June 12, and the second session will run June 13-28. All classes are from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Students must be 15 or older and bring a copy of their birth certificate and Social Security card.
