Sunrise of Pasco will host a candlelight observance at the historic Pasco County Courthouse downtown at 7 p.m. Thursday, which is National Sexual Assault Awareness Day. Round up black ties and dungarees

Looking for something for the post-spring break blahs? Tickets for the fourth annual Black Tie & Blue Jeans Country Ball are on sale now for $75 per person. The ball began in 2004 as a way to celebrate the newly reconstructed 1910 Blanton Packing House. The event has since moved to the Mabel Jordan Barn at the Pioneer Florida Museum & Village, where it is the museum's largest annual fundraiser. This year's event will be from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m. April 21, with live country entertainment by Rebel Pride and catering by Kafe Kokopelli. Other highlights include a live auction and a silent auction. Valet parking is also included in the ticket price. For information or to secure a spot, call (352) 567-0262. The museum is a mile north of downtown Dade City, off U.S. 301.

PORT RICHEY

Go ahead and drink the water

U.S. Water Services Corp. lifted the boil water notice Tuesday for all Port Richey utility customers after the latest tests showed the water is safe to drink. The boil water notice was issued Saturday after a broken water line disrupted water pressure. The line has been repaired and tests showed no bacterial activity in the water, U.S. Water said.

Editor's note:

There is no Top of the Class page today because of spring break. The page will return April 11.
