Russian symphony orchestras tend to play all-Russian programs on their U.S. tours, and the National Philharmonic of Russia is no exception. Olga Kern, the 2001 gold medalist of the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, is the soloist in the Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 2. Other Slavic fare includes Shostakovich's Festival Overture and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5, with Vladimir Spivakov on the podium. The Philharmonic performs at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ruth Eckerd Hall, Clearwater. $35, $45. (727) 791-7400; www.rutheckerdhall.com.
