Help honorary mayor campaign at fun day

The Martine for Honorary Mayor of Wesley Chapel Campaign will have a Family Fun Day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Design Center, 18039 U.S. 41 in Lutz. There will be hot dogs, games, face painting, contests, drawings and a bounce house. Little Women of Lutz will meet Tuesday

The GFWC Little Women of Lutz will meet 7 p.m. Tuesday at Nye Park in Lutz. The members will participate in the Keep America Beautiful on April 21 by cleaning up their Adopted Highway in Lutz. Enroll boys, girls in June Basketball Camp

ChairScholars to hold annual signing festival

The ChairScholars Foundation Inc. will hold the 11th Annual ChairScholars Contract Signing Festival from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. April 21 at 16101 Carencia Lane, Odessa. The foundation will award 32 college scholarships to physically challenged Tampa Bay area students.

The scholarships provide full tuition to any Florida college, university or vocational school through the Florida Prepaid College Tuition Program. Students will sign a contract agreeing to stay in school, keep up their grades and remain drug and crime free in order to keep their scholarships.

This year's festival theme is "Fear Is Not a Factor: African Safari," and the day's activities include a performance by the Kuumba Dancers and Drummers, arts and crafts activities, games, a magic show, exotic animals and food.
