2. East Lake (15-6): The Eagles remain one of the county's hottest teams, winning eight straight.

3. CC Catholic (16-4): The Marauders have had some impressive wins, including one against state-ranked Berkeley Prep.

4. Seminole (17-5): The Warhawks had their four-game win streak snapped against Lakewood on Wednesday.

5. Shorecrest (17-4): The Chargers, thanks to their stellar pitching staff, are in position to win district's top seed.

6. Canterbury (15-4): The Crusaders are ranked fifth in the Class A state poll.

7. Boca Ciega (15-8): The Pirates have one of the deepest pitching staffs in south county.
