Unitarian Universalists of Clearwater, 2470 Nursery Road: The annual church auction, "Tapas and Treasures," starts with a preview at 3:30 p.m. today. More than 170 items include estate collectibles and antiques, sports memorabilia, vacation packages and fine dining certificates. This style of worship was developed in 1940 by the Taize ecumenical community in Taize, France, and has spread throughout the world. Royalty Theater, 405 Cleveland St., Clearwater: The Christian heavy metal band Holy Soldier will perform at 7 p.m. Friday at the theater. The Los Angeles recording artists and touring group formed in 1985. The group features vocalist Don Russell, guitarists and vocalists Michael Cutting and Jamie Cramer, drummer and percussionist Terry "The Animal" Russell, and bassist Andy Robbins. The Christian alternative hard rock band Realign will open the show. Also on the program is the metal band Blissed. Tickets are $16 in advance and $20 concert day.
