Patrick Hession of Team Last Call wins the Rotary Club of Clearwater's tournament on Saturday.

Patrick Hession of Team Last Call caught a 48.48-pound kingfish to win the Rotary Club of Clearwater's 15th Annual Kingfish Tournament on Saturday at Coachman Park. The top prize was $10,000. Hession was unavailable for comment. However, tournament officials reported that the winning king was caught on a live baitfish in 55 feet of water in the Egmont Channel area. Frank Struchen of Team Happy Bones took second place with a 42.87-pound king. Justin Mastry of Team Hooker placed third at 37.56 pounds, Todd Guarnieri of Team Fish Bone finished fourth with a 33.45-pound king, and Nathan Thomas of Team Everglades was fifth at 30.96 pounds. Warren Williams of Team Top Gun won the Junior Division with a 28.07-pound king, and Stacie Price, who fished on Team Happy Bones, won the event's Rotarian Award. The event attracted 164 boats.
