Man, 27, charged with murder after fire kills 5

QUINCY, ILL. A man was charged with five counts of first-degree murder and arson after a house fire early Sunday killed five children, police said. Four other people, including a firefighter, were injured in the blaze. The bodies of four boys and a girl - ages 8 months to 10 years - found on the second story were likely family members, officials said. Authorities said Zachary Q. Meeks, 27, was arrested after being questioned about the fire. Elsewhere CAMDEN, N.J.: Gov. Jon S. Corzine's son said his father recognized him and responded to visitors Sunday, three days after an SUV crash left him on a ventilator with a dozen broken ribs and a severely fractured leg. SAN DIEGO: A magnitude 4.2 earthquake shook a tiny desert town about 4 p.m. Sunday near the Mexican border, but no damage or injuries were reported, officials said. PONTIAC, MICH.: The remains of World War II navigator 1st Lt. Archibald Kelly, who was listed as missing in action for almost 63 years, have been identified two years after they were found in Croatia, the brother of the deceased pilot said.
