Published April 19, 2007

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today for Shelby Hagman, 13, a Parrott Middle School student who died Friday from injuries sustained in a car accident. The service is scheduled for the Land O'Lakes Church of God, 8337 Land O'Lakes Blvd. in Pasco County. The family asks that donations be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation or St. Jude Children's Hospital. Loyless Funeral Home in Land O'Lakes has an online guest book that can be signed at www.loylessfuneralhome. com. Florida Highway Patrol reports show Shelby's grandparents' minivan was hit by a pickup truck at Sherman Hills Boulevard and Park Ridge Drive in Ridge Manor West. The accident is under investigation.
