Safe driving class: The AARP Safe Driving Program class will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the New Port Richey Library, 5939 Main St. To register, call (727) 848-1990.

Attorney to speak: Attorney Katherine Harmony Woltmann of Bay Area Legal Services Inc. will speak at 1 p.m. Wednesday on financial legal matters that can help preserve independence. Her speech will be part of the New Port Richey AARP meeting at Asbury Methodist Church's social center, 4204 Thys Road, New Port Richey. Refreshments will be served.
