TAMPA -- Defensive lineman Tavarious Robinson, who had 20 tackles in 2005 and redshirted last season because of academic problems, will not return for a final season, coach Jim Leavitt said. The Bulls return six of their top seven tacklers on the line.
Leavitt also said he expects junior guard Clay Huners, who tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in the spring game, to be able to return this season. Leavitt said Huners will have reconstructive surgery next month and said a medical redshirt has not been discussed.

To be honest, losing Tavarious is not that big of a deal. Our defense is already stacked with players that have the grades to play Div. 1 football. Good luck in D-2 tav.

It sounds like there is more to that story. That is certainly a shame, as he was a pretty effective player.
