Farmer's Market: From jicamas to pineapples, the Downtown Clearwater Farmers Market is full of fresh food. The weekly market is celebrating its 12th year of offering seasonal fruits, vegetables, cheeses, breads and honey from all over the country. The market is open from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. each Wednesday until Wednesday in front of Clearwater City Hall. In addition to fresh fruit, homemade chocolate and macaroni, there is homemade honey from a Pinellas source that comes in seasonal flavors. The event also features other ready-to-eat food such as hot dogs, popcorn and ribs. The market is 99 percent green, which means the majority of the sellers offer food, not crafts. However, jewelry and some kitchen linens are for sale. There is music from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The weekly meet is also a Jolly Trolley stop and nets more than 500 visitors. Call 461-7674.

Dinner & Music: The public is invited for dinner and entertainment from 5 to 8 p.m. every Saturday at American Legion Post 119, 130 First Ave. SW, Largo. Filet mignon, potato and salad will be featured. Cost is $6.50. Music provided by Ann Marie. Call 584-2038.
