ORLANDO - A SeaWorld employee threatened the park with a shooting rampage like the Virginia Tech massacre, leading to his arrest and firing, officials said Thursday. Gilbert Alexander Garcia allegedly told one co-worker Sunday, "I am going to do what happened at Virginia Tech here at SeaWorld." Two hours after Garcia was fired Monday and escorted from the park, he allegedly called a co-worker and said he was mad and was plotting revenge. The phone call was recorded and turned over to investigators. Garcia said in the taped call he was "going to blow up SeaWorld," officials said. Garcia, 20, of Orlando, was arrested a few hours later at his home and charged with threatening a place with a destructive device, a felony. Garcia insisted he was joking, the sheriff's report said. "It may be a joke to you, but it's not a joke to us," sheriff's Detective Kelly Boaz said. "How do we know he was kidding?"
