BROOKSVILLE Brooksville Christian Church will have its first services in its new building at 6197 Broad St. on May 6. Sunday school will begin at 9:15, followed by a worship service at 10:30 a.m. Call 796-3221. Northside Church of Christ, 11025 Broad St., will host a Homecoming Gospel Meeting, May 6 through 9, with Bible teacher Lawrence Adkins. "Golden Declarations from the Psalms" is the theme of the event, which runs 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday and 7 to 8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. Finger foods will be served each evening. Call 799-2593. Grace World Outreach Church, 20366 Cortez Blvd., will have a ground-breaking ceremony for its nursery addition at 9:45 a.m. Sunday on the construction site in the church parking lot. HUDSON St. Mark's Presbyterian Church, 7922 State Road 52, will host a spring music celebration by its chancel choir and gospel singers at 3 p.m. May 6. The church will also present a lecture by Dr. Robert Coughenour on "The Family Tomb of Jesus" at 1:30 p.m. May 11 in the hall behind the church. Coughenour is an author, archaeologist, pastor and professor. Call 863-5646. RIDGE MANOR Ridge Manor United Methodist Church, 34350 Cortez Blvd., will host a ladies-only tea and fashion show at 1 p.m. May 5 in the fellowship hall. Fashions will be provided by Bon Worth, and prizes will be donated by local businesses. Each guest will receive a framed photo and a special favor along with treats served on special china. Those attending are invited to wear their own stylish hats or select one that will be available at the door. Tickets are $7.50 per person for this fundraising event and are available by calling 583-3770. The church will also host a blueberry pancake supper and homemade bake sale from 5 to 7:30 p.m. May 11. Sausage, scrambled eggs, applesauce and drinks will be served along with the pancakes at a cost of $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12. Profits will benefit the children's ministry. SPRING HILL Spring Hill Bible Church, 15449 Spring Hill Drive, will host its annual Gals' Night Out beginning with dinner at 6 p.m. Friday. The children's choir will provide entertainment, and Christian artist Ruth Gee will speak about how angels are the example of a perfect servant. Tickets are $6; ages 6 and under are free. St. Paul the Apostle Apostolic Catholic Church will host a free concert by the Hernando Concert Club at 4 p.m. May 12 in the fellowship hall of United Church of Christ, 4244 Mariner Blvd. The music will be from the 1940s through the 1980s and will feature the songs of Tommy Dorsey, Glenn Miller, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams and others. First United Methodist Church, 9344 Spring Hill Drive, will host summer camp for children in first through fifth grades from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, May 31 through Aug. 17.
