BASEBALL

Summer Classic

College Baseball Advisors will be holding their 4th annual Summer Classic at Naimoli Complex June 22-24. Many College coaches from around the state will be in attendance. A college recruiting seminar will also be held on Friday night. Please contact Chris Banks at 727-542-6245.

St. Petersburg RBI

The league for players 13-19 years old will hold registration from 9 a.m.-noon on May 5 and 12 at Oliver Field at Campbell Park. Participants must have a birth certificate, proof of a physical, two photo IDs and $45 registration fee. For information, call John at 374-6987.

Florida State Collegiate League

The league has spaces available for the summer season, which begins May 26. It is a wood bat league open to present and future college players. Call Reed McMillan at 798-3723 or Dick Neitz at 813 961-2388.

Burg Baseball

The team is hosting a 7-under coach pitch baseball tournament on June 15-19. Little League, Dizzy Dean, Pony League or AAU teams are invited. For information, call Mike Fintak at 866-6578 or 768-2456.

St. Petersburg Rough Riders

An open tryout for future and current college players for a wood bat league will take place May 26. For information, call 347-1108.

GOLF

Florida Barracudas

The Florida Barracudas Baseball Club will host the Fortune Cookie Classic Golf Tournament on May 3 at 1 p.m. The tournament will benefit 15-and-under team will be going to an international baseball tournament in Beijing, China. The tournament is at Seminole Country Club, 6100 Augusta Blvd. Largo, FL 33776. The fee is $80 per player. Trophies for team award for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and honest golfer. Schedule

Summer Junior Camp at St. Andrews Links, Dunedin's municipal course located at 620 Palm Blvd. May 21-Aug. 23. Half day camp (noon to 4 p.m.) and all day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Instruction, video swing analysis, rules and course competition. Under the direction of PGA teaching pro Paul Sylvester.
