Centennial Opera Group will start a series of 32 illustrated video lectures on Giuseppe Verdi, "Viva Giuseppe, the Life and Operas of Verdi, " at 12:30 p.m. at the Centennial Park Library, 5740 Moog Road, Holiday (1.2 miles east of U.S. 19, behind the Centennial Library). The videos are both biography and a variety of musical excerpts from Verdi's 28 operas, early songs and one concert, showing how the composer's work evolved over the years.
