Shannon L. Williams joins Tampa law firm Carlton Fields from Baker & Daniels LLP in Indianapolis, where she was manager of new lawyer hiring and was responsible for the new lawyer and summer associate hiring programs. Previously, Williams was the director of professional development at Indiana University School of Law. She earned a bachelor's degree from the Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs in Indianapolis and is a member of the National Association for Law Placement.
Tim Sloan
Vice President of Engineering, Professional Communications Systems Inc.
Tim Sloan joins Professional Communications Systems Inc., a Tampa broadcast and audiovisual company, from Technical Innovation - Broadcast Solutions Group in Atlanta, where he was vice president of engineering and operations. Sloan's 17 years of broadcast experience also includes serving as advanced technology implementation manager and project manager for CNN Technology. Sloan earned a bachelor's degree from Western Kentucky University and multiple industry certifications, and is a member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers and the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers.
Leslie Miller
Director of Community Relations and Student Ombudsman, University of South Florida
Leslie Miller, who was the college's first black student body president, returns to the University of South Florida after more than 10 years as manager for minority business development and governmental relations at Tampa General Hospital. Miller was a three-term Florida state senator, and also has been a state representative and a member of the Tampa City Council. He earned a bachelor's degree in political science and a master's degree in public administration from USF and is married to Tampa councilwoman Gwen Miller. They have two children.
H. Roy Cullison
Controller, Phillips Development and Realty LLC
H. Roy Cullison comes to Tampa real estate firm Phillips Development and Realty LLC from Frank Maggio Cos. in St. Petersburg, where he was vice president of finance and controller. Cullison earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, a master's in business administration degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. He lives in central Florida with his wife, Gail. The couple have two sons, two daughters and two grandsons.
ARCHITECTURE
Harvard Jolly Architects, St. Petersburg, announces these promotions: Stephen Johnson and Philip Trezza Jr., to senior associates; and Jim Clees and Howard Braukman to associates. Johnson and Trezza were associates. Clees was a landscape architect and Braukman was a registered architect.

Liberty Bank, Clearwater, announces these promotions: Patricia Brown to vice president; and Ana Maria Schweitzer to assistant vice president and marketing officer. Brown was assistant manager and will continue to serve in this capacity in addition to her responsibilities; and Schweitzer was teller manager.

H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute announces these promotions: Heather Jim to assistant professor in the health outcomes and behavior program of the interdisciplinary oncology department at the University of South Florida College of Medicine, Tampa; and Dr. W. Michael Alberts has been named to Moffitt's hospital board of directors. Jim recently completely her postdoctoral training programing in behavioral oncology at Moffitt; and Alberts is a professor of oncology and medicine in the interdisciplinary oncology department and is Moffitt's chief medical officer.
HOSPITALITY
Brian Grant has been named director of engineering at the Sandpearl Resort on Clearwater Beach for Coral Hospitality. Grant was the assistant director of engineering at the Don CeSar Beach Resort, St. Pete Beach.
INSURANCE
Nancy Sheinberg has been named commercial lines manager at Bouchard Insurance, Clearwater. Sheinberg was vice president of client advisory practice leader at Marsh USA Inc., Tampa.
LEGAL
John W. Robinson IV has been elected by the American Inns of Court as trustee for the 11th Circuit (Florida, Georgia and Alabama) for a three-year term. Robinson is a shareholder and practices in the employment and workers' compensation practice group at Fowler White Boggs Banker, Tampa.
Ty G. Thompson has been named a shareholder at Mills Paskert Divers PA, Tampa. Thompson concentrates in the areas of business and commercial disputes and all aspects of complex construction and surety litigation.
