The skinny: Gators are looking to end some postseason paralysis of late - they have only scored three runs in their past four playoff appearances, all losses - dating to 2000.
Ridgewood (20-7) at Bloomingdale (18-7), 7:30 p.m.
The skinny: The Bulls beat Ridgewood 16-1 in last year's region quarterfinals. The Rams will start Ben Koenigsfeld, who relieved in last year's rout.
Class 4A
St. Cloud at Pasco, 7 p.m.
The skinny: The Pirates avoided a showdown with No. 1 Orlando Bishop Moore, but if they have their way they'll get it next week.
Class A
Tampa Baptist (9-13) at Bishop McLaughlin (17-5)
The skinny: Tampa Baptist may only have nine wins, but one was a decisive victory over the Hurricanes.
